Precise laser rangefinding

The NF 10x42 R of the advanced line offers the user high-performance optics with multi-coated lens elements and a large field of view. The integrated laser rangefinder determines the safe distance on game up to 1,200 meters - more reflective objects even up to 2,300 meters. With a simple push of a button, the eye-safe measurement with the Class 1 laser is accurate to within 1 meter in just 0.3 seconds. In addition, the measurement of moving objects takes place continuously in scan mode. The measured value is read from the red and very bright OLED display mirrored in the center and can also be reliably recognized on a dark background. If desired, the brightness can be adjusted in six steps.

Thanks to the different measuring modes, a sophisticated algorithm determines the distance in adverse weather conditions such as light fog or even rain.

The handling is done with only two control buttons. For hunting in the mountains, angle measurement has also been added. In contrast to conventional, direct distance measurement, in this case the ballistic deviation is taken into account and the angle compensation in meters, in addition to the shooting angle, is displayed directly in the field of view. With the high-contrast and sharp image from the center of the image to the edge, even the smallest details are detected!
